A marine services operator in the Tema port area brought us structural steel that the salt air had been eating for years — walkways, supports, and quayside members past the point of patching. We cut back to sound metal, re-welded replacement sections to the governing code, and specified the surface protection for a coastal service life rather than a dry-season photograph. The work was sequenced around the operator’s berth schedule, and the handover file carried the weld and inspection records for every replaced member.
